Travel Information Centres

Organizational Nature

The Ontario Ministry of Tourism as part of their mandate operates af 18 Travel Information Centres in the province of Ontario. Ministry officials wished to initiate a pilot project whereby consumers could book accommodations and attraction tickets at any of these centres via the representative DMO’s in the province of Ontario, which are also powered by Meridian.

Project Scale

Currently there are approximately 18 Travel Information Centres participating in the pilot project.

Unique Customization for this Project

Meridian needed to capture the Travel Information Centre Agent ID's during the reservation process and produce accounting reports which showed the booking volume at the representative destinations.

Project Timeline

Meridian completed the operational launch of this project in approximately 90 days between the delivery of graphical skins by their agency and the launch date.
